It's funny how children can often cope with life's struggles better than adults. Will has such a positive attitude each and every day. He wakes up smiling ready to f

ace the challenges of a new day. We never know if it will be a good day or a not so good day for Will. As a parent, you want to make things all better, and in Will's situation unfortunately we can not.

It has been extremely difficult for Kasey to maintain a positive attitude all day. By the evening she is just depleted. I can understand and it breaks my heart to see her like this! No one wants to see their child suffer! All we can do is enjoy the time we have together and to live in the moment. Sometimes that is easier said than done..........

Update Will's Research Fund

We have an update on Will's Research Fund. We are now at $7, 377!! We are getting very close to our goal of $10,000.00!! Hopefully after a few more fundraisers we will reach our intended goal. There will be a fun day in a couple of weeks at a big park off of Morningside in Dallas to raise money for Will's Fund. There is also a t-shirt sell currently going on with the UMDF. Will watching his favorite TV show,"Curious George" while having a feeding. Such an angel! ALWAYS so happy!

Will currently has good days and bad. Kasey & Doug are trying to enjoy each and every day they have with their precious Will. One day at at a time...........:)

Special Dark Chocolate Cake

This has got to be the BEST chocolate cake EVER!! Hands down!I love, LOVE dark chocolate and if you know someone that loves it too, then this is the cake for them!! Super rich, moist, and very chocolaty!! A must have for the holidays.:)

Red Velvet Cake

I made this for the first the first time today for a customer tomorrow. It is a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing. I usually don't sample the cakes I bake, but I just had to try this one and man was it delicious! I need to add this to my list of cakes that I make!! Thanks for the order Alameda Dental!!

I'm going to write "Happy Birthday" on a candy bar and put it in the middle of the cake,

Halloween Projects - Bottle of Boos & Mummy Mason Jars

Here are a few cute Halloween projects I created last Halloween. I gave all the cute wine bottles away to friends and family.Ed said the best part of this project for me was collecting the wine bottles! Well, maybe.........:)This year I plan on keeping at least one for myself!:) Emmy and I made the adorable mummy mason jars. Super easy to make! It took at total of 10 minutes. Just wrap the jars with 2 inch gauze and secure at the back. I didn't even glue the gauze down. I just tucked it in and it stayed secured. Added some googly eyes and there you go!! Got this one off Pinterest (of course), my favorite "go to" place for all my DIY projects!:)

"Queen" Nala

Here is Nala the "Queen" of the house! She is something else! I can't even get near Ed without her getting jealous. She doesn't care for Freckles, our other cat or Molly, except for at night when she starts to purr and jumps in bed with Molly. They can't stand each other during the day, but at night they are best friends!!
