New hats!

I gave the girls cute, super soft, beanie hats for Christmas. The girls took pictures with their new hats on and sent me this picture.  I think they look adorable! Twins!:)

Freckles under the Christmas tree

I'm sooooo tired! Too much excitement.
Cameron & Kate brought their two dogs (a beautiful rottweiler & an adorable pug) when they came to visit for Christmas. Our two cats, Freckles & Nala are scared to death of dogs to say the least. They usually hide out in my bedroom until night when they know the are dogs fast asleep. Then they slowly sneak out and check it out to make sure the coast is clear before they head out and explore the house and all the new dog toys & smells. I took this cute picture of Freckles relaxing under the Christmas tree at night. Must be nice to have no worries in the world!:) She is our little "angel" kitty. We are so blessed to have her as one of our family members. She is very attached to me. Nala is in LOVE with Ed. I tell him all the time that she thinks he is her girlfriend. If he sits close to me she comes and sits right by him or nudges his hand to get him to pet her! She is so funny!

Let it snow!!

What a cute snowman! Love the socks for gloves too!:)

Let it snow!

First snowball!
The kids had fun in Dallas this year for Christmas and Will's first birthday. It actually was a "White Christmas".:) They had so much fun building a snowman and making snowballs! What fun memories! I wish I could have been there! Next year....:)

Christmas 2012!

Well, another Christmas has come and gone. I don't know if it was because I was sick for six weeks during the holidays, or because I was busy taking care of family, but Christmas came and went WAY too fast! I'm going to miss the Christmas music playing on the radio and in the stores, and all the Christmas decorations and lights. In fact, I have not taken down any Christmas decorations intentionally. I want to savor every last minute! Especially now that I am over my horrible cold. (flu?)

Ho Ho Ho!!
We had a very busy Christmas this year. Kelsey, George and the kids went to Dallas to celebrate Christmas with Kasey, Doug and Will. So, we had our Christmas with them on the 19th of December before they left for Dallas. Ed bought a Santa suit this year. He has been wanting to surprise the grand-kids for years. He looked like the real Santa! Jax being two years old was very intrigued and actually a little scared at the same time. I think next year we will plan Santa's grand entrance a little better! Hopefully, next Christmas Jax will not be scared of Santa! Blessings to all!!

Kate & her new cashmere scarf & hat. Cute!

Kate & Bosley

Awww.....cute! Cameron & Kate
Cameron and Kate were able to spend Christmas with us this year, which is a rare opportunity! We had a wonderful visit. Good food, spending time reminiscing about Cameron's childhood with Kate, and of course driving around town looking at all the beautiful Christmas lights. I hope that Cameron & Kate are able to come again next year. With all the kids grown and with families of their own, it is difficult to have everyone together at the same time.
