Me teaching the students how to take a dental impression. No gagging please! |
After a long, relaxing summer, back to school tomorrow! My new class has 23 students enrolled so far. I can't wait to meet them all tomorrow. Although I'm excited to meet the new class, I'm going to miss seeing the last class sitting in their usual seats. Last year was a good year teaching. The students had such great attitudes, and were willing to try new things without complaining. So far, almost half of the class have found jobs in the dental offices. I'm very proud of them! I know the rest will find employment soon. Each year the classes keep getting better and better! Thank God!
Chase, my youngest son is starting his first year in college tomorrow. He hasn't said he is nervous, but I can tell by the questions he is asking he is excited and a little nervous as well. He is so smart! I know he will do just fine. He hasn't decided on his major yet. I think he may be leaning toward something in the medical field. I personally, think that would be great! I've talked to him about Nuclear Medicine, which is up and coming. His older brother and sister are serving others in the medical field and absolutely love their jobs. Cameron is actually doing major research for a hospital in the area of new equipment to help aid heart attack victims. It is very interesting and he gets to travel all over the US and Canada. The only downfall is we very rarely get to see him during the holidays. Between his regular job and the research he is very busy! We are so proud of him and all of his accomplishments. Way to go Cameron!
Better head off to bed. Tomorrow will be here before I know it!:)
